Why would I need to change anything?
Recently Google Calendar / Google published an update that makes it so only event invitations from known senders and event invitations from Google Contacts show up on your Google Calendar:
This is causing some issues for some folks around the web where they're missing meetings because they didn't respond to a Google Calendar invitation or didn't see the event because it wasn't holding a spot on their Google Calendar.
There are some ways to resolve problems caused by this update like:
- Adding your contact or fellow event attendee as a google contact at contacts.google.com
- Ensure you respond yes to Google Calendar invitations
- Email with those you're having a session or meeting with via gmail or you're preferred email client
- Change your and your clients settings as demoed here:
