Whether you're making an internal coupon to be used just by you on invoices for your clients, or you're making an external coupon which can be applied to products by your clients, it all starts in services on Practice. Click the plus button in the top right corner and then click create a coupon.
Remember to think about your payment and coupon setup prior to making the coupon, because if you'll be making invoices for your clients, you'll want to use internal coupons, whereas if you're making Practice products, you'll want to use external coupons.
Choose your coupon title, use the toggle to dictate whether the coupon is internal / external, enter a easy to use and exciting Promo code if this is an external coupon, and choose the discount percentage.
Decide if this coupon can only be applied once, even if its a subscription product, and enter your choice in the apply for recurring invoices field.
Following that, if this is an external coupon, decide how many total times this coupon can be redeemed by anyone. So if one person can use it 15 times on 15 different products, the limit would be 15. If 15 people can use it once each, the limit would be 15.
Then, if this is an external coupon, you can enter an expiration date at which point, no one can use the coupon on any new invoices, products, or subscriptions.
Finally, click save change in the top right corner, and your coupon is ready for use!
If you created an internal coupon and applied to an invoice you're sharing with a client, the discount will be reflected on the invoice:
If you created an external coupon, your clients will be able to use these when they visit your product links:
