Packages are a great way to track and manage services fulfilled to clients. Packages allow you to track either many sessions or time against what a client has paid for.
Watch along for an overview:
Package types
Fixed package
A fixed package is a simple way of offering a bulk number of sessions. It allows a client to self-book any number of sessions (or time) based on a scheduler combination.
Example:
- A client signs up for 10 sessions, a client can use 10 sessions
- A client will sign up for 4 hours of session time and can use 4 hours of session time
Subscription package
With a subscription package, Practice will automatically renew the package cycle on a recurring basis (either weekly or monthly), and in doing this, we'll unlock a certain number of sessions (or time) on this recurring basis.
Example
- A client will sign up for 1 hour per week of sessions and Practice will infinitely enroll them into a weekly subscription unlocking 1 hour per week
- A client will sign up for 2 of session A and 2 of session B per month, Practice will automatically unlock this amount of sessions each month, and unused sessions will rollover onto the next month
Flexible package
When the package is assigned to the client, or when the client enrolls in a package, they have the option to input how many sessions (or time) they'd like to use in the package.
Example
- At the time of enrollment, a client would like to sign up for 5 sessions, so their input is 5 sessions
Usage-based Package
Learn more about Usage Based Packages
Very similar to a credit card, a client can sign up for any number of sessions (or time), and at the end of the service period, they're automatically billed for what they've used.
Example
- A client signs up for 5 sessions in a month at a rate of $150 per session and they're automatically billed at the end of the month for $750 to their card on file
- A client signs up for 2 hours of sessions; one at $50 per hour and one at $100 per hour. At the end of the month, they're automatically billed for $150 to their card on file
