Adding a future start date
You have the option to set a start date to your packages. You may want to use this if you're selling packages ahead of time and they specifically need to start at a certain time. The client can buy it days, weeks, or months in advance and it won't activate until the start date set by you. If you leave it blank, it will be activated immediately upon purchase.
Adding an end date
You have the option to set a package expiration date on the template level. You can set it to be days, months, or even an exact date.
Once the end date arrives, the package will immediately mark itself as complete. Think of it as a use it or lose it situation. If the client needs to use a certain amount of sessions within a time period - this is where you set it.
Adjusting start and end dates
Once a package is purchased or assigned to a client, you can adjust the start and end date on the package instance on the client record.
You can adjust these whether you had them set on the package template level or not.
FAQ:
How do split payments work with set start dates?
- First payment is due immediately
- Then, the second payment is due after the start date, not the first payment.
Example: Package is purchased April 1st, start date is August 1st. The second payment is due September 1st.
